General Medical Consultations for all ages
Our Practice hours are between 8am and 5pm Monday to Friday (except statutory holidays). We offer appointments each work day between 9am and 4.30 pm. Our standard appointment time is 15 minutes. If you have a number of issues to discuss with the doctor and/or require longer than the 15 minutes, please let us know when you call and we can allow a longer appointment time. This may incur an additional fee. We would prefer you to advise us that you require more than 15 minutes as frustration occurs when we try to squeeze too much into your 15-minute appointment, and we are not able to adequately respond to all of your queries. Please arrive on time for your appointment, as we may need to make you another appointment time if you are late.We appreciate it is frustrating when you need to wait; Our doctors work very hard to keep to appointment times; however, it is not always possible.
Phone First Acute Clinic
We have a ‘Phone First Acute Clinic’ every morning from 8.30 am to 11.00 a.m. The clinic is for acute matters only where you think you need to be seen on the same day. Register for the clinic by ringing the surgery and a Doctor or Nurse will call you back for a telephone consultation or arrange for you to come in to be seen. We don’t take bookings for the acute clinic and patients are taken in the order they register, however please be aware that a patient with a serious health issue may be called before you. The Acute Clinic is for our registered patients only and it is for a single matter only. When attending the ‘Acute Clinic’, you will often see or speak to a nurse as well. At the Acute Clinic we are unable help you with Work and Income forms etc. as they require a full appointment with your doctor.
