Minor Surgery Information
A doctor appointment is required prior to any minor surgery or liquid nitrogen treatment.
We provide the following services
1. Excision.
The removal of a skin lesion of concern for further diagnosis or treatment, or for appearance concerns
2. Skin Biopsy.
A sample of a skin lesion or rash using a special biopsy instrument. The sample is then sent to the laboratory for diagnosis. Sometimes a larger excision is required to remove the lesion in its entirety.
3. Toenail Surgery.
This procedure is to treat ingrown toenails.
It includes removing the part of the nail causing pain. You will come in the day following the procedure so a nurse can review the area and change the dressing.
4. Liquid Nitrogen.
Freezing with liquid nitrogen is often used for warts or small areas of sun damaged skin. This procedure is done by our nurses
